About these terms

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through darkskiescoffee.com. By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them before purchasing.

Dark Skies Coffee is a limited company operated by Jacob Brooks, The Kennels, Hensol Estate, Mossdale, Castle Douglas, DG7 2NE.

Our products

All coffee is roasted to order in small batches. Product descriptions, tasting notes, and roast profiles are provided in good faith. Due to the nature of wood-fired roasting, there may be subtle variation between batches. This is a feature of the process, not a defect.

We are not VAT registered. All prices shown are the full price — there are no additional taxes to pay.

Ordering

Orders are placed and payment is taken through Stripe, our payment processor. You will receive confirmation of your order by email. We reserve the right to cancel an order if we are unable to fulfil it, in which case a full refund will be issued promptly.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within 3 to 5 working days of roasting. Delivery times may vary depending on your location. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services once the order has been dispatched.

Delivery is to the address provided at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for non-delivery due to an incorrect address being given.

Subscriptions

Subscription orders are processed monthly through Stripe. Your card will be charged on or around the same date each month. You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at least 5 working days before your next renewal date.

Cancellation takes effect from the next billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for subscription payments already processed.

Your consumer rights

As a consumer in the UK you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.

You have the right to cancel an order of non-perishable goods within 14 days of receiving them. Please see our Returns and Refunds policy for full details.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to resolve any issues fairly and promptly.
